Welcome to the adventure of a lifetime! We invite you to join Roos Baseball Team on an unforgettable journey to Alameda, California, where we’ll be participating in the 41St Invitational World Boys Baseball Tournament. The city of Alameda is located on the San Francisco Bay Area providing easy access to numerous activities. Prior to playing in Alameda the team will play pre tournament games in Fresno, located a few hours from San Francisco.

Roos Baseball Team is lead by a dynamic group of passionate coaches who are driven by their love for the game. We are dedicated to nurturing talent, fostering teamwork, and providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills. Who is this for?
This trip is available for players from Australia aged 16 or under as of 1st April 2025. It is suited to the player that wants the immersive learning experience of playing at a higher level to improve their overall baseball skills.
Dates:
Anticipated July 25th – August 12th 2025, including pre-tournament games.
Cost:
Approximately $7900.00 per player inclusive.
Includes; Airfares, Accommodation, most meals, regular training in Australia from April 2025 until departure, Game Top, Cap, Training Tops, Team Polo Shirts, Jacket, Player Bag, Tournament fee.
Staff:
Team Leader: Andrew Ross
Andrew has been involved with the World Boys Baseball Tournament since 2006. He has coached Ryde LL, IL, JL and SL.
Andrew’s vision is to provide players the opportunity to play international baseball.
Head Coach: Robert Zucconi
Robert Zucconi, over 20 years of coaching experience, having coached at Ryde and Baulkham Hills State League baseball clubs, and Greenway Sydney Winter League Baseball club. Until end of 22/23 season was responsible for all the Pitching and Catching at Ryde State League. Currently acting in an advisory coaching role to Ryde Little League and delivering position specific instruction.
Assistant Coach: James Sammes.
Originally a Hills Junior, James has played representative baseball for many years prior to attending College in the USA. Player turned coach James participated in the Roos 2013 Fresno Tour.
As of late James has diversified his role in the game to focus on coaching in the NSW and Australian Youth Championship systems. James brings with him a fresh perspective on the game and a consistently positive outlook.
